 ry Connell was a 2013 Edgewater High School graduate who’s life was trag
 ically cut short at Pulse Night Club in June 2016. Cory was a proud Edgewa
 ter Eagle who exuded many positive character traits while on and off campu
 s. The Cory Connell  PTSO Scholarship is awarded yearly\, honoring Cory
 ’s legacy of community involvement.\n\n⇒Must be an EHS senior and stud
 ent member of PTSO to apply.⇐\n\nSubmitted applications will be reviewed
 \, and recipients selected by PTSO and EHS Student Services. Winners will 
 be announced in May (TBD).\n\nDuring the review process\, equal considerat
 ion will be given to the categories below:\n◊ School Activities/Involvem
 ent\n◊ Community Service Activities/Involvement\n◊ Awards/Recognitions
 \n◊ One letter of recommendation from a coach\, mentor\, teacher or comm
 unity leader is required as part of your application packet.\n\n-Applicati
 ons are available Jan 1st through March 13th\, 2026 at the Student Service
 s Office and on the PTSO website. Download application here. The committee
  will meet to select winners and notify them in early April so they can at
 tend Senior Awards Night which is on May 13th.\n\nPlease submit all compon
